Hushfold is a private, encrypted vault for iPhone that hides photos, videos, files and notes, shrinks videos without visible quality loss, and backs up to the user’s own iCloud — with no account, no server and nothing collected.

Facts you can print

• iPhone-only, iOS 17 or later. Launching November 2026.
• Encryption: AES-256-GCM via Apple CryptoKit; key derived from the master password with PBKDF2-SHA256, 600,000 rounds.
• No account, no email, no analytics SDK, no ads, no notifications. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
• Video shrink: hardware HEVC re-encode, kept only if ≥ 15% smaller and PSNR ≥ 34 dB; side-by-side compare; 30-day undo.
• Backup: optional, encrypted, to the user’s private iCloud (CloudKit). Free. Keeps the last 5 versions of the vault index.
• Price: free for 150 photos and 15 videos. Hushfold Unlimited lifts the cap: $24.99/year with a 7-day free trial, $34.99 once, or $2.99/week — all three unlock the same thing. Viewing, exporting and deleting are never gated.
