We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.

What is free and what is paid

Free, with no limit and no purchase: notes, links and files; video compression; the decoy vault, disguise screens and alternate icons; Face ID and PIN; encrypted iCloud backup; and exporting an encrypted archive of your entire vault.

Free, up to a limit: 150 photos and 15 videos stored on the device.

Paid: *Hushfold Unlimited* removes that limit and unlocks batch compression.

Hushfold Unlimited

A one-time purchase of US $34.99 (599,000 ₫ in Vietnam; prices vary by region and are shown in the app before you buy).
It does not renew. There is no subscription, no free trial, no auto-renewing period and nothing to cancel.
It is tied to your Apple ID, so reinstalling the app or moving to a new iPhone keeps it. Use Restore purchases in the app.
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).

What a purchase never gates

Viewing, exporting and deleting your own data is always free — including items you saved before reaching the free limit, and including everything you saved if you later decide not to buy. The limit stops you adding *new* photos and videos; it never locks away what is already yours.

Encrypted iCloud backup is free for everyone. It uses your own iCloud storage inside your own Apple account, so there is nothing for us to sell you.

Your keys are your responsibility

Hushfold encrypts your data with a key derived from your master password. We do not have your password, your key or your recovery phrase, and we have no server that holds them. If you lose them, nobody can recover your data — including us. Keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe and separate from your phone.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, to store content you have no right to possess, or to reverse engineer or interfere with it.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is", without warranties. Video compression re-encodes your video; the original is kept in Trash for 30 days so you can undo, after which it is permanently deleted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
